useful information and that type information depend on department such as number of employee who asks for
vacation, number of employee, values expenses, number of supplier, medical
inventory, and salary.
Knowledge: Information that has been
organized and processed to convey understanding, experience and expertise as
they apply to a current problem or activity (slide)
All department have special
information that consist of their department ex from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM the
number of patient increase that lead to crowded in the external clinics. In a
new year, there is more purchasing and many interview because there is a new
budget.
How information system are
helping the company:
First they collect data from many
sources such as Questionnaire, meetings, use of records, statistical reporting,
receiving and processing complaints, and suggestions.

information through several steps including Computerize, support communication,
using information technology, distribution
and dissemination of information, preparation and distribute brochures and
evidence, preparation of standards and specifications, and application of
protocols.

SEHA announced that it will run the ERP (Enterprise resources planning
)project in the organization and its branches. The project was applied to be in
keeping with Abu Dhabi vision to implement the electronic government. This
process was done to empower the efficiency and to improve the organizational
performance.
This strategic step will help SEHA to manage its work by the latest
modern technologies which will be helpful in the development process because it
will increase the productivity and efficiency, reduce the cost and enhance
service levels.
Previously the different departments in SEHA such ad HR and Accounting
were supported by variety application, but with ERP all procedures and
organizational process will be supported by the same applications. 3
As any other application ERP has two directions, one is advantages and
the other one is disadvantages. We will list some examples of these two
direction below.
